World Environment Day Celebration

World Environment Day is celebrated every year on June 5 and is recognized as an awareness day for the purpose of protecting the global environment. The United Nations started celebrating this day from the first environmental conference held in Stockholm in 1972. The main objective of World Environment Day is to create awareness among the public to keep the earth healthy and livable and to call for united action to ensure the protection of the environment.
