Celebration of Victory Day 2024
Victory Day, observed on December 16, celebrates Bangladesh's 1971 victory and independence. In 2024, the nation marks 53 years of freedom with flag hoisting, tributes at the National Martyrs' Memorial, and special prayers.
The Global Community Organization (GCO) will honor the martyrs by laying a wreath and hosting discussions on the values of independence.
The celebration includes a grand parade, cultural performances, educational programs, and documentary screenings. Evening events feature fireworks and musical tributes. Special initiatives will recognize freedom fighters and support underprivileged families, fostering unity and progress.
