Quarterly Report-5: Maternal and Child Health in Bangladesh Slums (#64561) Families living in urban slums face daily health risks, especially pregnant women and young children. Lack of proper medical care and nutrition makes their lives uncertain and challenging. Through our Maternal and Child Health Project, in collaboration with Global Giving Foundation Inc., we are providing:

  1. Free health check-ups and medical care
  2. 2Nutritious food for pregnant mothers and newborns3.
  3. Health awareness workshops and counseling sessions So far, 9 families have benefited, including 3 pregnant women, 6 postnatal mothers, and 6 children, all receiving ongoing medical and nutritional support. The quality of care is ensured through the active participation of volunteer doctors and nutritionists. We are planning to expand this program to reach more families and improve the health and well-being of vulnerable mothers and children in Bangladesh’s slums. #MaternalHealth #ChildNutrition #GlobalGiving #CommunityWellbeing #GCO #globlagiving
